About Andrea:
After stints working at a New York Times three-star restaurant and as a personal chef, Andrea edited recipes for Art Culinaire, a quarterly publication geared toward restaurant chefs. Andrea also spent several years as Senior Editor at Chile Pepper magazine, where she developed and tested recipes for the spice-obsessed audience combined with writing and editing duties. This spicy expertise landed her on Martha Stewart Radio discussing her recipe for Sriracha Wings (because Sriracha makes everything better), as a bhut jolokia expert on NPR’s “Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me” and with weekly blog posts on fiery food for the James Beard-award winning website Serious Eats. Andrea has written for countless websites and magazines, plus recipe edited for MarthaStewart.com and Made With Love: Meals on Wheels Family Cookbook. Andrea has developed recipes for corporate clients, restaurants, magazines, food councils, food companies, etc, and is the author of The I Love Trader Joe’s College Cookbook and The Artisan Soda Workshop. She has also contributed recipes to Kiwi magazine’s recent cookbook, Allergy-Friendly Food for Families. Andrea has also ghostwritten a variety of food-related publications.
